The best part about writing this feature is being able to discover artists like Aimyon…and then kicking myself for not knowing about her earlier. A soloist from Hyougo prefecture, she appears to be one of those rare cases of an artist who can excel at many different styles of music. “Ai wo Tsutaetaidatoka” the song is but one of the many faces of Aimyon. Funky Pop songs not your thing? Well maybe her skills on the acoustic guitar will be more to your liking. A fan of ballads? She’s got you covered on that front too. I don’t like to use the term “special” that often but in this case I think it’s certainly warranted.
