Are you a fan of 80s Synth-Pop? Well if you are then criminally underrated Satellite Young’s self-titled album should be something that’s on your radar. Satellite Young themselves are unashamedly retro and that definitely comes across in their music. This album feels like it was plucked straight out of the 1980s, dusted off and given a bit of modern spit shine. Some elements of their sound do very much remind me of the new defunct Especia which might be why I was drawn to this particular release in the first place. While Satellite Young aren’t trying to make too many modifications to the wheel here, they absolutely nail that classic 80s sound and style.
