I wrote about Hirone-chan in my previous roundup and this time she’s back with her 3rd album in as many years. As such there is some older material on here but whatever man, it’s a good jumping on point if you like dreamy and at times melancholic Pop music. There’s also a large variety of instruments in play over the course of the album so it has plenty of variety too. Definitely something that warrants repeated plays, which is usually the mark of a good album. Hirone-chan’s music isn’t going to appeal to everyone but if you’re like me and enjoy music that’s a bit more eccentric then “Yume no Yume” is definitely worth checking out.
