If you’ve been following the site for a while, you’ll no doubt know that I have soft spot for throwbacks to 80s Pop music or “City Pop” as the kids are calling it these days. Natsu Summer, from Ehime prefecture is pretty new on the scene but over the past year or so she has been putting out some really great music. “Hello, future day” is her latest album and it appears she’s going for a more straight up City Pop feel on this one as opposed to blending in some Reggae influences like on previous releases. I know it’s November but these are some pretty chill summer beats so if like me you live in a particularly depressing climate at this time of year, throw this album on and brighten up your day.
