I have to admit, it does feel a little odd to be putting Zenbu Kimi no Sei da’s most recent album “Arumumei” this high on my Top 10 list. Considering the album is made up mostly of the group’s past year or so of singles, several re-records of previously released songs and just a couple of new tracks it’s not exactly setting the world on fire. Neither did codomomental in 2019 though to be fair, opting to take much of the year and dedicating it to re-recording the bulk of their groups’ discographies. All of that being said, “Arumumei” is a very enjoyable album and the new material that Zenkimi did release last year was to a high standard and they seem to have managed the transition into their new brand of…Synth Rock I suppose fairly well. Here’s hoping for a year of lots of brand new material in 2020. Full Review
