After a very productive start to 2019, former Especia member Tominaga Haruka kept the momentum rolling into the second quarter of the year. Under her HALLCA moniker, the soloist released a further 3 digital singles in “Moisture Milk”, “Show the Night” and “Utopia” bringing the running total up to 5 for the year at the time of writing this. Haruka’s incredibly smooth vocals are a constant presence across the 3 songs which range in styles from Funk to Lounge to more Ambient and experimental influences. Highly recommended if you’re a fan of some or all of those genres, and by the time that you’re all reading this it should be even easier for you to enjoy these songs as HALLCA’s debut album “VILLA” releases September 25th. Expect more coverage of that in a future edition of the roundup, but by all means please go enjoy all of these fantastic songs in the meantime.
