It has been quite some time since I’ve had the chance to feature lupine rockers MAN WITH A MISSION in one of these roundups. The band, perhaps known just as much for the giant wolf heads adorned by each member as their wide ranging and infectious utilization of genres such as Rock, Electronica and Nu-Metal kick off 2019 with new EP “Remember Me”. Very much a microcosm of the band’s wide range of styles and influences, from title track “Remember Me” and its heavy use of synthesizer to create a spacey atmosphere, to “Left Alive” and its high tension Nu-Metal influenced instrumental that pairs clean vocal melodies with rapid-fire rapping or even “Starlight Syndrome” with its very Ambient inspired instrumental supplementing a dreamy Ballad. A very compact sampler of what to expect from the band that is perfect for curious new listeners. Also featured is a 2019 update to hit song “Fly Again”.
