Despite there being some talk of a breakup at the tail end of 2017, 2018 saw BILLIE IDLE go from strength to strength. Selling out tours, releasing “P.S.R.I.P.” along with 2 albums…oh and Pour Lui joined the group too. That last thing sparked an interest in the group that saw them have one of their best years yet, not that they were doing too badly before then either. This single is BILLIE IDLE at their best, taking a nostalgic music genre and putting their own spin on it. In this case the title track is a love letter to Punk music from the 90s, something I’m also rather fond of. The b-side settles for a dreamy Rock style that continues the feelgood vibes.
