While their sister groups had their ups and downs, 2018 for Zenkimi was plain sailing by comparison. Extensive touring and several large shows kept the group busy for much of the year and saw them cement themselves as the jewel in the Codomomental crown. Though their year wasn’t full of new releases, when they did release something they made sure to make it count. That’s certainly the case with this single, which is loaded with 3 incredibly fun and also very catchy Zenkimi songs. “Tonari Kore Arata” ended up being the group’s only widely distributed single release on the year, though it was supplemented by a couple of digital and store exclusive releases. It also saw the group continue to mature and tweak their sound with the incorporation of further Rock influences. Likely facilitated by their new preference for touring with a live band.
