I’ll be honest with you, the reason I initially checked out And Summer Club’s latest release “Hyper Boredom” is because the title made me laugh and it was kinda relatable in a way. Certainly not the thinking man’s way to discover new music but whatever works, right? “Hyper Boredom” is the 4-piece’s latest EP and for something I checked out because I found the title funny I have to say I really enjoyed it. And Summer Club pull off some very pleasant, Lo-Fi Indie Rock music over the course of 5 tracks so if that’s your jam and you don’t already know who they are then definitely give them a listen. There’s also a track on here called “Teenage Suicide Party”, which I also found pretty amusing.
