Sometimes the most interesting of things are the ones that come in small packages. That’s definitely the case when it comes to soloist Yuisrus at least. Formerly a member of You’ll Melt More, Yui took a several year hiatus from the Idol industry before returning as a solo act in 2018. “Gomennasai. Kyoryu wa, Yuisrus ga Zetsumetsu Sase Mashita.” was part of a pair of mini-albums released by Yui towards the end of 2019 and it packs a ton of interesting sounds, lyrical styles and just fun in general into its 5 tracks. Perhaps not something that all of you serious Idol music aficionados out there will care for but I think there’s definitely plenty of room in the scene for a bit of lighthearted silliness and Yui is bringing plenty of that to the table, on the surface at least. If you choose to dig a little deeper then you might just surprise yourself. Full Review
