I imagine that if you asked anyone in the NECRONOMIDOL camp they’d probably say that 2017 went fairly well for the group. Their album “DEATHLESS” saw darkness continue its unending reign over the Idol world and it even began to spread overseas with the successful infiltration of both Europe and North America. The fires of hell need to be stoked however, with the release of the “DAWNSLAYER” single being a worthy addition to the cause. Packed with songs taking their cues from the usual NECRONOMIDOL mix of Black Metal, Darkwave, etc as well as more Cthulhu references than you can shake a tentacle at, it was the perfect follow-up to one of the year’s most atmospheric Idol albums.
