If you’re a fan of “Alt Idol” things then chances are you’ve maybe heard a Milcboy song or two already and just haven’t realized it. She is produced by Codomomental, who also produce Zenbu Kimi no Sei da, Yukueshirezutsurezure and Kaqriyo Terror Architect and Milcboy has lent her songwriting abilities to her labelmates in the past. “Tokyo Nekodamashi” is her first full album though and it is very much Milcboy at her best. Sure, her flavor of Piano-Rock and her at times Gotou Mariko-esque vocals aren’t going to be to everyone’s taste but if either of those things I just said strike a chord with you then you have to check this album out. “Kuroneko Yokochou Parallel Tour” and “Eien Exotikitsch” being personal highlights for me.
