Now that we have the meat of the article out of the way, let’s have some fun. It’s time for my random awards. These are random thoughts I had about the past year put into an award format. Some are silly, some are a bit more serious. In any case, enjoy more opinions!
Okay, look guys. I really do feel for the people into Dempa idol music. It’s a super niche genre, so Moso Calibration switching over to EDM does suck in that regard. However, for me personally, I gotta say that I absolutely love the new Moso Calibration. They look and sound fantastic. Their videos and music have been very high quality, and it turns out there were some pretty epic lookers hiding underneath their previous frilly uniforms. Like I said, sucks for the Dempa fans but hot damn have they made a great EDM group so far.
Like I had mentioned previously, I got into PassCode this year and have fallen in love with their 8-bit Rock sound. They’re certainly not bad to look at either, but their music is some of my favorite to listen to, and their style is one of the most unique I’ve come across. Really hoping this group continues on with the Famicom headbanging tunes in the year to come!
