Gesu no Kiwami Otome. are the first of two Kawatani Enon projects to feature in this roundup, I wonder if any of you can guess what the other one is. Anyway, the 4-piece recently released their fourth album “Suki Nara Towanai” which is their third in as many years so they’ve certainly been putting work in while also focusing on their various other projects. The album features previously released songs such as “Tatakate Shimau yo”, “Image Senryaku” and “Mou Setsunai to wa Iwasenai” along with a host of new tracks and even a PARKGOLF remix of “Watashi Igai Watashi Janai no.” thrown in for good measure. Of the newer material I’m particularly partial to “Battling” and “Manekarenai kara yo” of the more Rock leaning offerings but if you’re looking for something a bit softer then “Genge” is absolutely fantastic.
