MICO’s SHE IS SUMMER solo project usually makes a habit of releasing something new during the warmer months and this year sees her release her first mini-album in “hair salon”. A mini-album of two halves in a lot of ways, with the first 3 songs being rooted firmly in the chilled out, Ambient style that is so popular in Japanese music these days. The latter half of the release comprises of songs with a much higher tempo and energy by comparison, with a noticeable Funk influence in several places.
