The Idol review guy talks about some non-Idol stuff again.
Yeah, yeah I know this thing is stupidly late since we’re in November and I’m going to be talking about a bunch of stuff that came out in the summer. Just allow it, these things take forever to put together and more importantly I needed to hold something back so you guys can still get new content while I’m off getting up to who knows what in Japan for a month. You guys should all do that too by the way. Who knows, you might be able to see some of the cool artists I’m featuring in this article too!
Okay, so if you’ve never checked one of these things out before I guess I better explain how it works. Basically I pretty much only write about Idol stuff for like 48 weeks out of the year. I listen to a bunch of other Japanese music beside that though and I figured some of you might be interested in hearing about it. No crazy long reviews like I normally do because I just don’t have that kind of time, instead I’ll give a few thoughts on why I liked a particular release, link a video and shill some affiliate links so you can buy it if you like what you hear. Pretty simple right?
If you have checked out one of these before, welcome back! Hopefully you’re ready for more Shoegaze, Dream Pop and all manner of other random nonsense that I’m sure you’ll be aware that I’m into by now. Apparently I really like pretty much every artist signed to FLAKE RECORDS right now, so perhaps that might give you some hints as to who is being featured this time out. Or I guess you could just read the tags down below. That doesn’t sound like much fun though.
Enough rambling from me though, these things are a long enough read as it is. Have a click through the various releases featured, maybe find some cool new music to listen to or maybe not, it’s all good. Let me know what you liked in the comments too if you want, I’m kinda curious. If you’re not interested in anything other than the Idol stuff then take the week off and come back next week when everything will be back to business as usual.
