2017 saw the Idol world’s dark heroines NECRONOMIDOL begin to lay the groundwork for their ambitious plans of world domination. Performances in America, Europe and Asia as well as an international fanclub on Patreon formed a large part of their strategy (having a native English speaking producer helps so much), along with the release of the group’s second album “DEATHLESS”. An album that saw the group hone their eclectic mix of Black Metal, Darkwave and NWOBHM and polish it into what many believe to be their best work yet. There are certainly very few groups out there who can create such vivid imagery and chilling atmospheres with their music. While their concept and output may not be to everyone’s taste, the Idol scene is definitely a much more interesting place thanks to their dark presence.
