Yukueshirezutsurezure became something of an indie darling over the course of 2016, at least in the Alt-Idol scene anyway. A well deserved accolade in my book, given the group’s high production quality and the strength of their songwriting. It probably also helps that they have some of the best screaming vocals in the game. I have to admit that this album wasn’t exactly everything I was hoping for, but I can’t say that it’s not great or that I didn’t enjoy listening to it a lot. It did more than enough to make my list, but it probably would have ranked a bit higher if things played out a little differently.
