While there’s a few more around than there were in previous years, the solo idol is still a rather rare breed indeed. Maybe one day we’ll get back to how it was in the 80s and 90s but for now the pickings remain slim. Thankfully said pickings are pretty awesome artists like Terashima Yufu who has been carving out a nice little career for herself since leaving BiS. I really love her voice and how smooth and whimsical it is. The fact that she can get someone like me to sit down and listen to slower tempo, “ballad” type songs should be testament enough to how great this album is.
