A weekly roundup of the past week’s digital releases.
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had an enjoyable festive period and that none of you are still feeling any adverse affects that may have resulted from it. Welcome to the first edition of Last Week in Digital for 2021, where we mop up what was left of 2020’s digital music releases and sprinkle in a taste of what 2021 has to offer with a few things from the first couple of days of the year. The scene never sleeps and considering the worsening situation in Japan currently, I would imagine that this digital trend is going to continue and probably grow a lot more over the next 12 months.
That being said, the past week was comparatively quiet when looking at the month or so previous. There’s still a decent amount of new(ish) music for you guys to listen to but definitely not the sort of volumes we’ve been seeing of late. A good week to go back and catch up on some things that you might not have had the time to check out over the festive period then I suppose! As always I’ve compiled as many releases as I could down below, with links to as many streaming platforms as possible so feel free to have a click through and see if anything catches your ear.
With all of that said, once again I just want to wish you guys all a Happy New Year and I hope that 2021 is a great year for us all.
