A weekly roundup of the past week’s digital releases.
Hey folks, back again on another Monday with yet more new music from the past week for you all. Welcome to a new installment of Last Week in Digital, where I try my best to give you your Japanese Idol music fix and hopefully introduce you to a new group or two along the way as well. We don’t always end up catching absolutely everything that comes out in a given week but we sure do give it the old college try and hey, it’s not like anyone else is doing this anyway right?
I’ll be honest, the last week was a bit dry in terms of new releases. There’s still a decent amount but it definitely feels like things have dropped off a bit lately, most likely due to Japan’s recent COVID surge and all of the havoc such a thing tends to cause. What we did get was once again slightly more on the traditional end of the Idol spectrum, though there are one or two familiar faces who popped up too. I not going to promise great things, but if you get a spare couple of minutes then you should still take a look below and see what you might have missed last week.
So yeah, feel free to take a look below like always and if you’re coming back for a review later in the week then I’ll see you on Wednesday for one of those too. If not it’s all good, I’ll be back again next Monday with another one of these things for you all to enjoy. Well hopefully anyway, it does kinda depend what comes out after all.
