A weekly roundup of the past week’s digital releases.
April already huh? Man this year sure is flying by folks and still no COVID vaccine for me or any prospect of international travel (more specifically to Japan) resuming any time soon but oh well, at least it’s Monday so that means that it must be time for another installment of Last Week in Digital. Your one-stop shop for all/most of the digital music releases from the world of Idol from the past 7 days. I’m sure most of you know how this works by now so I’ll save you the sales pitch, scroll down for all of your weekly Idol goodness and all that.
It’s a bit of a hodge-podge of releases this week, from mostly smaller acts that a lot of you (myself included) have probably never heard of before. It’s kind of that awkward time in the year where contracts are ending, groups are trying to figure out what they’re going to do for the next financial year and all of that fun stuff. As such, we hit a weird spot as far as new music from most of the more popular groups goes for about a month or so and then things generally go back to normal around May time. That is, if your favorite group manages to survive Massacre Month at least.
So yeah, maybe check out some of these less well known groups this week and see if one of them catches your attention. That’s what I’m going to be doing as I need topics for my usual music reviews otherwise we won’t be having many of those if I keep slacking/failing to find interesting things to write about. Check back later in the week for a couple of those by the way or if not then I hope that you have a great week anyway. Either way thanks to all of you for your continued interest/support of the site, stay safe out there and we’ll hopefully talk again here real soon. Have a good one until then. Cheers!
