A weekly roundup of the past week’s digital releases.
Oh boy, it’s almost December already folks and that means 2020 is rapidly drawing to a close. Probably something that’s going to please most of us I imagine as this has been a year to forget but there’s still plenty of time left for more Idol music to make its way into our earholes so welcome to this week’s edition of Last Week in Digital. The weekly feature where I do my best to compile as many of the digital music releases from the world of Idol from the past 7 days into one handy post for you to consume at your leisure. We make a pretty good go of things I think and people have been telling me that they find this sort of content useful so I’m more than happy to continue providing it if that is indeed the case!
As you can probably see, it was another bumper week of digital music last week with a whole host of releases from all manner of different groups. Some “bigger” names, a lot of less well known ones and even a hotly anticipated release or two thrown into the mix for good measure. Seems like a lot of groups are racing to get one last release (or two) in before the end of the year so if this trend continues into December then it’s going to be a pretty busy end of the year and an even bigger headache for me as I try to cover the stuff that I want to while also juggling Top 10 Best of stuff at the same time. The main thing is that it’s still a (pretty) good time to be an Idol fan right now, and despite how hard 2020 has been the scene finds a way somehow to keep going.
Right, enough waxing poetic from me. I’m back to work after a week off so I better go deal with that now. Hope you guys are all doing well out there and don’t let the insanity of the world/holiday season wear on you too much okay?
