A weekly roundup of the past week’s digital releases.
So here we are at the start of another new weeks folks. 2020 still somehow manages to feel both like the longest but also one of the quickest years in recent memory but that usually depends on which side of the bed I wake up on. That’s besides the point though, it’s Monday so that means that it’s time for another installment of Last Week in Digital. The feature where I do my best to round up as many of the digital music releases from the world of Idol from the last week as possible and condense them all down into one easy to follow post for you guys to browse at your leisure. I think I’ve been doing a decent job so far and you guys seem to enjoy these posts too so that’s also pretty cool.
As you can see, there wasn’t a ton of stuff that got uploaded onto the various streaming services last week. You’ll also probably have noticed that there’s a bit more of a “conventional” theme running through the groups that are featured below this week too. That’s just how it is right now in the Idol world, stuff comes along in fits and starts and you kinda have to take what you can get. Still, I’d recommend that you guys take a few minutes to check out some of these releases because while they might look a bit too “normal” compared to the stuff that I usually write about, there’s still some pretty awesome music contained within those jacket covers. Never judge a book and all that.
Not much else for me to say here really other than for you to feel free to have a click through the releases listed below when time allows. Hopefully you’re able to find something cool in there and you get a nice distraction from everything else going on in the world even if it’s only for a minute or two. With any luck this week might offer up a bit more quantity as well as variety but the nature of these digital releases means they sort of just pop up unannounced and are easily missed if you’re not paying close enough attention. I’m sure even I don’t, so if I missed anything here then make sure to leave a comment, tweet, etc and let me know and we can try to share some more cool music with as many people as possible.
